Endurance race victory

We did it. Once again, and against all odds. If the REC endurance race was tough, this 1000 km race at Garage Fest was a true test of absolutely everything.

The format of this competition meant things were going to be even more serious. More time on the track, stricter entry requirements—for instance, we had to urgently replace the safety harnesses that were still compliant during the first stage of the REC.

The start was promising, and what followed was just as intense. During one of the pit stops, we had to fight with a loose sensor mount. The pit stop time was skyrocketing, and our rivals were pulling away. However, thanks to the team’s seamless teamwork, skill, and a few zip-ties, we solved the issue.

Our drivers, Dmitry Savateev and Peter Plotnikov, worked a miracle – first closing the gap, and then pulling ahead by a full twenty laps. And this was despite another surprise from the machinery: the fan power connector lost contact. The engine started overheating, with temperatures climbing well past the usual 120°C. But our motor oil didn’t let us down, and the car crossed the finish line first in its class.

We were also thrilled to participate in the event beyond the track. We hosted a prize giveaway near our garage, and we’d like to thank everyone who stopped by. There were so many of you that we gave away almost all of our prizes!

This race was a true ordeal, where the phrase “pushed to the limit” isn’t just a marketing slogan, but a statement of fact. And everyone, and everything, without exception: the people, the oil, and the machinery, passed it with flying colors.
